Najmul Siddiqui receives award
TORONTO, Canada–Najmul Siddiqui, a successful entrepreneur, community leader and philanthropist, received the prestigious Order of Ontario in early February.
He founded the multimillion dollar telecommunications company Tri-Vision in 1985. The company’s revolutionary technology allowed parental control of programming.
The Order of Ontario recognizes individuals who have demonstrated excellence and achievement in any field benefiting the people of Ontario or anywhere in the world.
Elizabeth Dowdeswell, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario and Chancellor of the Order of Ontario, invested the appointees during a ceremony at the provincial legislature building.
