Joe Biden leads presidential race with only 6 points electoral votes to go
by TMO Staff
As we wait for the results for the presidential election, anxiety levels remain high. As of this report Joe Biden leads the race with 264 electoral votes– only siz away from winning the election while Donald Trump lags behind with 214. After flipping Michigan Biden needs just Nevada to win his seat in the White House.
The election has been a close call for each state with the candidates only beating one another with one to three percent at most. While Biden is most likely bond to win as Pennsylanvia continues to recount its votes, Trump remains in denial of this.
Trump continues to express his frustration on Twitter claiming that the ballots are being “dumped.” His campaign has also filed lawsuits in several states including Michigan to recount the votes. He apparently doesn’t understand that states can flip as polling counts continue and is set on the ideal that he once had states like Michigan and Wisconsin prior to their blue flip.
Nevertheless, hope remains that Trump’s hate will end this year with Biden in office. However, it is noteworthy that half the country still supported Trump despite his obvious Islamophobic, sexist, and anti-immigrant agenda.
