ICNA’s “Why Islam” Billboard in Houston
By Ilyas Choudry, MMNS
Why Islam Billboard has been placed in Houston along FM 1960 0.20-Miles West of I-45 South: This is the north part of Houston.
Traffic in both directions at this location along FM 1960 is more than 55,000 Per Day.
According to statistics, minimum 25,000 and maximum 60,000 Persons will see this Billboard in Two Months and they will not see the Billboard once, but many times during these 60 days.
So we will be spending something like 15 to 40 Cents Per Person in inviting them to learn more about Islam.
As you can see, the Billboard is adjacent to McDonald’s, where many people come to get food.
People usually enter McDonald from the side street, which is Bammel Westfield.
AlhumdulilAllah good thing is Billboard is very visible from both FM 1960 and Bammel Westfield.
We InshaAllah need to raise another $3,000 to pay off by Friday – December 19 – 2008 for this Billboard for this initial two months contract (till the end of January 2009).
Also we need to raise $50,000+ to have a Year Round Campaign with Billboards at different locations in our Region every Two Months: Meaning five locations in a Year and reaching out to minimum 125,000 and maximum 300,000 persons per year.
InshaAllah give your part in this work and encourage others to do the same.
One of the Best Year End Donations, since all the Contributions are Tax-Deductible: Checks and Money-Orders can be mailed in the name of ICNA and mailed to: P.O. Box 572181 – Houston – Texas 77257 (InshaAllah hav the Best of Both the Worlds).
