Department of Interior Turns Department of Oil Pipelines

Recently, it was found that The United States Department of Interior has been attempting to decrease the sizes of national parks to allow for more big businesses and corporations to dig up the lands to build pipelines and search for other natural resources.

This has angered many people because the pipeline not only cost a lot of money, but they are extremely hazardous to the environment. Drilling for oil costs the world enough money and damages and now a federal agency that is meant to maintain national parks is trying to do the exact opposite of what it was made to do.

IT has become evident that the Trump Administration does not care for the “little guy” or is interested in “draining the swamp”. The Trump Administration only wants to line the pockets of their friends with money, no matter how much it costs small family businesses or small furry animals that live in national parks.

Adding on to the disaster that the Trump Administration is causing, they have now decided that protections on endangered species will be decreased severely and that the Administration will look at each species and decide their fate on a case-by-case basis.

This would be a tragedy to all American lands. National Parks would no longer exist as they do now. The effect of these changes will be seen for years to come. It will also contribute to climate change, making the state of the world even more dangerous.

It would make someone wonder why the Trump Administration is going through such lengths to destroy something that does not really affect the average American. What has become clear is that changing the regulations to protect animals, only helps the rich get richer. With all the animals out of the way, then these big rich corporations can build whatever they want, wherever they want.

It is very similar to how the original settlers of the Americas behaved when they first landed here. They took whatever they wanted, they lived whatever they wanted and totally and completely disregarded any human or animal life. It seemed like as a country, we should have gotten out of the phase of barbaric colonialism or similar behaviors to that. However, the Trump Administration only cares about the wealthy and helping their rich friends become richer.
