Muslims offer help to Utah tribe
The humanitarian group Islamic Relief USA is offering much needed help to a Utah tribe this Ramadan. The Goshute Tribe in Tooele County face unemployment and lack of income and this has become generational according to news reports.
In a press report Islamic Relief says: ““The Tribal Nations are the original inhabitants of North America, and their vibrant cultures have benefited all Americans. It is Islamic Relief USA’s honor to be a partner with various Native American organizations, assisting them to promote healthy and sustainable communities.”
Islamic Relief will deliver 3,000 food packages to families across the country. Each box holds 30 pounds of food, including rice, pasta, beans, oil, canned meat, cheese and dates.
