Muslims, Jews join for Halaqah-Seder

PALO ALTO,CA–Muslims and Jews came together for a unique interfaith activity in Palo Alto on March 29 for an event titled Halaqah-Seder. Around 100 professionals of both communities attended the event organized by Islamic Networks Group and the Jewish Community Relations Council of Silicon Valley.

The group discussed Muslim and Jewish perspectives of the story of Prophet Moses (AS). Volunteer readers presented brief re-enactments of both Jewish and Muslim versions of Moses’ story as well as Muslim and Jewish women’s roles in the story.
