The National Basketball Association’s 2010 – 2011 season tipped off this weel. Turkish-American Hidayat “Hedo†Turkoglo wanted to start off on the right foot as he made his debut with the Phoenix Suns after having been traded from the Toronto Raptors over the summer. He unfortunately had a difficult to his debut in the Valley of the Sun. Turkoglu finished with only six points, making only two of seven shots. He picked up four fouls in the Suns’ 106 to 92 loss to the Portland Trailblazers. He started at power forward and played a total of 27 minutes. However, he struggled on defense against Portland power forward LaMarcus Aldridge. The Suns next face the Utah Jazz, as Hedo tries to get more comfortable in his new Phoenix Suns uniform.
