Compassionate Care Network Builds Health Coverage

The Compassionate Care Network (CCN) supported the residents of Libertyville IL to receive additional information and assistance on health coverage through the “Get Covered America” program throughout Ramadan.

The CCN Program was based on a “30 mosques in 30 days” approach, which is reported to have reached over 10,000 residents in the Chicago area. 

According to Dr. Azher Quader, Executive Director of CCN, “Libertyville residents shouldn’t feel the need to risk their health and financial security becasue of their lack of insurance coverage; not when there is a great alternative available.”

“Organizations like CCN that have strong grassroots ties to the Libertyville community are extremely valuable partners,” commented Punya Krishnappa, Illinois Organizing Director of Get Covered America.

CCN consists off over 200 health professionals who volunteer  to serve people who have difficulty obtaining care.
