Syed Ejaz appointed to task force

COLUMBIA,MO–Mayor Bob McDavid of Columbia, Missouri, appointed 15 local leaders to the new Pedestrian Safety Task Force this week.

The task force, established after a unanimous council vote last month, is “tasked with reducing collisions between vehicles and pedestrians by studying local accident trends and providing a report to the council by May 16, 2016.”

The report will include potential engineering solutions to help prevent accidents and fatalities on city roads.

Among the appointees is Missouri Students Association member Syed Ejaz.
