Sharing Ramadan in Florida!
Thank you for helping us successfully complete another year of Sharing Ramadan events across the state!
By Rummi Khan, South Florida Director
As we venture through the final days of Ramadan, we hope that everyone has had the opportunity to share and avail this special time of year.
We are thankful to each and every one of you that donated your time, efforts, and resources to help make this years’ Sharing Ramadan Program a great success. Alongside our local partners Emerge USA had the pleasure of connecting our community with many of our local and national Elected Officials, dignitaries, and interfaith leaders.
Without your support and contributions our work here at Emerge USA would not be possible.
Here are the glimpses of Sharing Ramadan in South Florida.
Sharing Ramadan at AMCC (Orlando) and in Tampa
Sharing Ramadan Orlando was co-hosted with the American Muslim Community Center and we were pleased to have both Senator David Simmons and Senator Darren Soto join us along with many community and interfaith leaders of all backgrounds! In Tampa we were pleased to have the City of Tampa City Council join us to learn more about Ramadan and meet with community leaders.
