Rafay Khan appointed CRO of INRIX
Real-time traffic information providerINRIX has hired former NAVTEQ and DigitalGlobe executive Rafay Khan as its Chief Revenue Officer.
Khan is responsible for leading global sales and business development efforts across the company’s key markets including its automotive, mobile, public sector, media and geo analytics businesses.
“Rafay knows the industry and our business inside and out. I’m confident he’ll make an immediate impact leading the sales team’s efforts across our company,†said Bryan Mistele, INRIX President and CEO.
Prior to INRIX, Mr. Khan was senior vice president and general manager at DigitalGlobe (January 2009-June 2012) where he was in charge of the Commercial Business Unit.
He previously, hold different roles at Nokia and NAVTEQ in Asia Pacific between 2000 and 2009.
Mr. Khan drove 30 percent revenue growth building NAVTEQ’s APAC business with customers across the LBS, mobile and automotive markets in the region over two years.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Khan held several software engineering roles leading DaimlerChrysler’s computer aided engineering lab and serving as a data analyst for Altair.
