Muslim Observer lauded on BuzzFeed

The Muslim Observer was recently featured in a BuzzFeed list of 100 must follow Twitter handles.

The alphabetical list, compiled by community user A123LAD, says it included the Twitter handles of “the most prominent scholars, news and current affairs … on Islam and other religions, and sociopolitical commentators who have an eye on Muslim affairs.”

Mentioned at number 62, The Muslim Observer is described as “The best weekly Muslim Newspaper in the world, bringing you news from around the world.”

Twitter handles of personalities included on the list are American scholar Shaykh Hamza Yusuf (#33), Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei (#44) and scholar of religious studies Reza Aslan (#76).
Other news organizations mentioned include Alt Muslimah (#8), CNN Religion (#15), Guardian Belief (#25) and ISLAMiCommentary (#38).
