On December 13, 1989, following the collapse of the Soviet Union, Robert S. McNamara, Defense Secretary in the Kennedy and Johnson administrations, told Congress that the $300 billion annual Pentagon budget could be “safely cut in half over the next decade.”
With no major enemies to defend against, Americans were expecting to receive a “peace dividend”.
Instead of getting a peace dividend, we’ve been saddled with a debt of $17 trillion. That’s over $53,000 per person, $148,000 per taxpayer.

Our peace dividend was squandered on wars — wars based on lies.

The big lie: 19 Arab hijackers conspired to destroy the World Trade Center, attack the Pentagon, and bring down Flight 93 in Pennsylvania.

9/11 was the New Pearl Harbor (Rebuilding America’s Defenses, p 51) whose goal was to persuade Americans to accept huge increases in military spending required to control the energy resources of the Middle East and Central Asia.
We’ve launched wars on Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya. The results have been disastrous — both for us, and for those we liberated.
Now we’re about to attack Syria — a war crime in the making; regime change in Iran is the goal. Apparently, we learned nothing from the CIA’s 1953 overthrow of the elected leader of Iran.

Since 9/11, we’ve been presented with one terror threat after another.

It is reported that the FBI’s network of informants actually created most of the terrorist plots “foiled” in the US since 9/11.

The fact is, Americans are far more likely to die from bee stings or lightning than by terrorism.

The attack on Afghanistan was based on lies about 9/11. The attack on Iraq is the “supreme international crime”.

Six years ago, General Wesley Clarke, candidate for US president in 2004, warned audiences, that the U.S. had plans to attack “seven countries in five years” — Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Iran.

We’ve done Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan. Syria, Lebanon, Iran remain on the target list.

But Americans have been waking up to the lies used to justify these wars, curtail our civil liberties, and divert resources from vital domestic needs.

Today, 2000+ military, intelligence, industry professionals, and millions of others, do not believe the official account of 9/11.

The evidence shows that:

Bin Laden was never wanted by the FBI for 9/11.

World Trade Center 1 and 2 did not collapse due to airplanes or fire.

47 story WTC 7 — that collapsed later on 9/11, had to have been prewired for demolition.

Flight 93 was shot down over Pennsylvania.

Flight 77 did not crash into the Pentagon.

CNN reported “there’s no evidence of a plane having crashed anywhere near the Pentagon.”

The Pentagon transcript of the September 12 press conference does not mention Flight 77 — a Boeing 757.

The Pentagon transcript of September 15 shows other officials questioning the official account.

US Solicitor General Ted Olson’s account of phone calls from his wife Barbara Olson on board Flight 77 is contradicted by the FBI. FBI exhibits in the trial of Zacarias Moussaoui show that Barbara Olson made only one phone call, it did not connect, and it lasted for 0 seconds.

The Flight Data Recorder does not support the official account.

Hani Hanjour couldn’t possibly have flown a Boeing 757 “at 530 mph” along the path reported.

G-Force would have caused the Boeing 757 to crash well before it struck the Pentagon.
