Junad Khan receives research excellence award

Dr.Junad Khan, assistant clinical professor at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, received the Excellence in Research Award, at the 2015 convocation held last month. He was introduced during the ceremony as follows: “He possess the qualities of all great researchers: he’s honest, patient, self-critical and always willing to start over when the research demands. He’s less concerned with being right than getting it right.”

Khan is also the director of basic research at university’s Center for Orofacial Pain. He has more than sixteen academic publications to his credit.
