Interfaith Meeting
By TMO Correspondent
West Bloomfield–April 16–An interfaith meeting designed to build trust and good relations was held this past weekend at the home of Dr. Yahya Basha in suburban Detroit.
Present were many respresentatives of the Muslim and Jewish religion, including Brenda Rosenberg of the Children of Abraham project, who has worked closely with several prominent and active Muslims including Ghalib Begg and Imam Abdullah El-Amin of the Muslim Center Detroit, and who has been invited to meet with HRH King Hussein of Jordan because of her interfaith and community-building work.
All of those present discussed their own backgrounds, and discussed good experiences they had had of interacting with people of other faiths.
