Imam Needed

Job Type:

The Muslim community of Flint, Michigan is seeking a qualified Imam to lead this strong Muslim community.

Duties:

• Perform all Imam of Mosque/Islamic Center activities.
• Organize and conduct youth activities and halakas.
• Communicate effectively with all age groups (children, youth, and adults) and advise or provide consultation
• on religious and social matters in light of Quran, Hadith and Fiqh.
• Lead da’wah and interfaith activities.

Qualifications:

• Must be Fluent in English and Arabic.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Quran, Hadith and Fiqh.
• Hafiz-e-Quran highly preferred
• Formal degree in Islamic Studies from a recognized Islamic institution is preferred.
• Proficiency in moderate level computer skills will be a plus.
• Multiple years of previous experience as an Imam or Director in the United States.
