How to Organize a Memorable Football Party

Football season is here! This means sitting glued to the big screen TVs while munching on food and cheering loudly or letting out frustration when players fail like a coach.

All in all, it’s game time. Here are a few tips on making a football-watching party memorable:

Tip 1: Have a variety of foods to serve your guests’ big appetite. Go beyond the nacho and dip combo and pizzas. Get creative! Make mini burgers, taco cups or go eccentric and offer Chinese-style meatballs. For dessert, go ahead and consider ordering or picking up a cake with football theme on it from a local bakery or grocery store. Having a potluck for such occasions could be a time and money saver.

Tip 2: Make sure there are enough chairs and sofas for the party attendees. Having extra folding chairs is always a good back-up idea.

Tip 3: The TV screen should be clean! Get the smudges off the screen with a soft cloth to avoid scratches and wipe gently. Dipping the soft cloth in warm water or in a mild soap works just fine as well.

Tip 4: Team spirit has no limits. Get your favorite player’s jersey on and even decorate your home or game room with team colors. Playing neutral? Then go ahead with NFL theme.

Tip 5: Last but not the least, make sure to keep the volume under control as well as language. In the spirit of the game, adults should not forget that children are around and respect for each other should be maintained despite the score.
