Dr. Afshan Hashmi

Dr. Afshan Hashmi (Ph.D.’91), President of Global Regulatory and Business Solutions, LLC, was awarded Certificate of Appreciation by the County Executive of Montgomery County, Maryland Isiah Leggett, for serving as a member of Montgomery County’s November 2007 business mission to India. The Certificate of Appreciation was presented to Dr. Afshan Hashmi on March 10, 2008 in the Bethesda Theatre, Bethesda, Maryland in a reception hosted by the County Executive Isiah Leggett to celebrate the success of Montgomery County’s recent business mission to India. Certificate of Appreciation was also presented to other business leaders as well. Dr. Hashmi helped the Montgomery County’s Department of Economic Development team to tell its story to Indian government and business leaders in bringing investment back to the County.
