9/11 Presentation Sparkles More from Quality than Quantity
By Adil James, MMNS
Detroit–May 16–Enver Masud, in person, has the matter-of-fact demeanor of a lifelong federal government employee. This might not be what you would expect from someone who has devoted the last approximately 6 years of his life to exposing the most egregious inconsistencies that he says lie at the heart of the widely accepted version of events that happened on September 11, 2001.
Perhaps in total 50 people attended the lecture, held at the Muslim Center of Detroit on Davison Rd., designed to present the findings of Enver Masud and encapsulate the research he has conducted until now into the events that occurred 7 and 1/2 years ago.
According to his website, www.twf.org, Enver Masud is “founder and CEO of The Wisdom Fund, and recipient of the 2002 Gold Award from the Human Rights Foundation for his book The War on Islam. He is also a contributing author of Islam: Opposing Viewpoints, and 9/11 and American Empire: Christians, Jews, and Muslims Speak Out.”
Technical difficulties limited his speaking time, but in only 45 minutes he was able to cut through to the bone on all of the major pillars of the official 9/11 story.
Readers familiar with the basic precepts of 9/11 conspiracy theory will not be surprised by his basic presentation: that there is no airplane in video footage from Pennsylvania or the Pentagon, that the damage to the Pentagon and its environs are completely inconsistent with an airliner crashing there, that the freefall speed of the towers in New York preclude the possibility that the towers fell from damage caused by the kinetic energy of having airliners crashed into them followed by fire damage to the supporting structure of the towers; and that building 7, which sustained no direct attack at all, only minor fires, was “pulled” by the admission of and in the very own words of its then-owner, Larry Silverstein.
Despite his recitation of these basic facts, with which many are familiar, he brings detailed knowledge which will be surprising to most others–one that surprised me was that there is not a single Arab name on the manifests of any of the airliners whose passengers are said to have perished on that day.
What is truly surprising about Enver Masud, though, is that his persona, slight southern accent, and matter-of-fact descriptions convincingly remind you not of a wild-eyed conspiracy theorist or radical and committed believer in any unfamiliar doctrine–no. He truly resembles the American government technocrat you would expect to tell you in no uncertain terms that nothing happened on 9/11 other than what the official story says. And yet he says the opposite. Another surprise is the depth of Enver Masud’s research into 9/11. His website is a repository of testimony and videotape and textual information that is encyclopedic, from flight manifests to video aired only once, and much much more.
Masud in explaining how he acquired his evidence said there must be disenchanted people in responsible positions who despite their unwillingness to publicly announce their disagreement with the official story nevertheless quietly make publicly available the thousands of bits of evidence that demonstrate disastrous holes in the official story of 9/11.
This disenchantment appears widespread. Polls indicate 53% of Americans believe their government is hiding information about 9/11, and that 28% of Americans believe their government is lying about the official story.
