Mahfuz Ahmed Entrepreneur of the Year

MCLEAN,VA–Mahfuz Ahmed, founder and CEO of Digital Intelligence Systems, LLC (DISYS), a  global IT staffing and consulting company, has been selected as the winner of the Ernst & YoungEntrepreneur Of The Year® 2013 Award, of the Greater Washington D.C. region. The award distinguishes high-growth entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in areas such as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.

Under Mahfuz’s leadership, DISYS has maintained an annual growth rate of 30 percent and now serves over 300 clients including many Fortune 500 companies. DISYS’ rapid growth is a true testament to Mahfuz’s expertise, strategic vision, and perception of market performance.

Mr. Ahmed, originally from Bangladesh,  is an alumni of Harvard University. In addition to a degree in Computer and Electrical Engineering, he has more than 15 years of Information Technology experience. Mr. Ahmed’s previous career experience at several companies, including ExxonMobil, gave him the foresight to create a company that could provide its clients with highly skilled consultants to complement their technology staff without the burden of long-term costs associated with hiring and training.
